Flickr Foto Finding Feat

Here's a reminder of the assignment for Tuesday.

Visit flickr.com and click on the "Creative Commons" link on the bottom of the site. Browse through the few hundred million photos until you find something that you think is interesting, beautiful, shocking, etc.

Once you have found a photo you like, right-click on it and select "View all sizes: Large" and download the image onto your Thumbdrive. Bring these to class on Tuesday.

P.S. There must be a Surgeon General's Warning or something on that strong of coffee...

First Day of Class

I have posted an electronic copy of the class disclosure. Be sure to bring a signed copy back before Aug 30th. Also remember there is a $15 class fee. Bring a receipt, otherwise you cannot check out a camera.

Last but not least, remember that not everything you see in photography is real. Example? 

P.S. I might as well give a few bonus points for checking out the class website. It is a work in progress, but more things will be coming throughout the semester (such as more opportunities for bonus points, answers to questions on quizzes, etc.) so check back often.
